A Personal Development Guide for Virtual Assistants to Achieve a 6-Figure Income.

Anytime is a good time to reflect on the year that's passed by and the year ahead. One of the things I always try to do during these times of reflection is think about how to better myself, because when you better yourself, you will better your whole life. I also set new financial goals, and really you should too.

So behold, o' seekers of prosperity! Within these mystic pages, twenty enchantments await to guide remote workers on their path to a six-figure bounty in the year ahead. Embrace these arcane rituals, and let the wealth of the universe flow into your coffers!

So here are 20 ways for you to better your year ahead...

1 - Ask Questions & Get Sound Advice.

You need an outlet, whether that be a mentor, or several, a group, a colleague or CoWorker, but you need a solid place to ask questions and get advice.

2 - Create Content That Gets a Spotlight!

Content creation - real content, is needed now more than ever, with the rise of AI it's getting harder to determine what's real and what's not. AI is great as a content support but you still need to share your real-life experiences.

3 - Network & Connect With CoWorkers.

Even the introverts among us need a few friends and connections to grow. I have made a lot of client referrals over the years, but I can only refer them if I know about the person and trust them. Networking is so important for this.

4 - Source Clients & Potential Collaborations...

You need to be keeping that window of opportunity open at all times, not just show up to the crowd only when you need someone. By collaborating in a place that can become a source of clients, the WOM referrals on your business will escalate.

5 - Learn Incredible Things To Support Your Business!

We never stop learning. Sure we can master some topics and become a brilliant teacher, but we're always going to need to be learning new things and expanding horizons to ensure we continue to be a brilliant teacher. Same goes for anyone.

6 - Get Emotional Help When Needed, No Judgement.

Business is business but the owners are human. In all my years as a coach and mentor, I've really seen the rough and the smooth, the laughter and the tears, the joy and the sadness. You need to feel safe to open up through any of life's triumphs and challenges - and not feel judged.

7 - Be Selective With The Noise In Social Media & Unwanted DMs.

Ever left a comment on a Facebook group and then had DMs full of messages that feel like moths to a flame? You need to attract the right sort of people in your DMs and direct your energy to places where that comment or interaction will achieve your goal.

8 - Get Quality Focussed Interaction (Without The Hype).

It's easy to get swept up in the hype of things! Whether it's a new product, a celebrity scandal, or a political controversy, the media can create a frenzy around just about anything. However, it's important to take a step back and question the validity of the hype. Often, the hype is just that - hype. It's a way for marketers, journalists, or social media influencers to grab our attention and get us talking. It's essential to do your own research, gather evidence, and form your own opinions - what I'm saying is, believe in your own judgement and critical thinking skills, and learn to develop these further.

9 - Meet Real Experienced Professionals Who You Can Trust.

Ever feel like you're swimming in a shoal of fish, with hundreds all going in the same direction? That's cool, but I suggest being more like a dolphin, as in their own ways, dolphins are the kings and queens of the sea. Socially skilled, smart, agile, joyful, playful and they know how to handle the sharks. Find and join an exceptional community of dolphins (figuratively speaking).

10 - Find New Ways To Work Online (That Keep You Productive).

There are so many distractions that pull on our time and attention. From social media platforms to the news, we're being pulled around daily, so make it your aim to find a place and personal space to stay focussed and be collaborative, where other people are there to do the same.

11 - Be Part Of A Community Of Like-Minded People...

Which leads me on to like-minded people. We need them because they get us, and when people get us, they naturally, without any conscious effort, are energetically supporting us. We all need more of this, please!

12 - Step Towards Your Vision For Your Future.

Every journey starts with a single step & every staircase climbed starts with that first stair... I could go on, but the meaning is, you need to take an action of some kind, no matter how small, to progress toward your vision of the future, and once you do that (and keep going) you'll find circumstances and guides along the way to help you.

13 - Participate In ‘LIVE’ Intuitive Support, Whenever You Feel Lost.

Intuition is spontaneous, it's in the moment, it's the reflex of going with the first reaction that comes into your head, and it's a muscle we need to build on to really use it to our advantage. When someone is consciously aware that their intuition is at work, this is a very supportive tool for growth, and when you're doubting yours, there are people more attuned who can help you through tools they use to tap into what's happening with you. In other words, having someone to help us explore the things we know are there, but which we can't necessarily see, can be immensely helpful.

14 - Get Vital Life Tools To Raise Your Vibrations & Attract Success!

The best way to create the business of your dreams is to clarify your definite goals and focus on raising your vibrations. This means connecting with yourself, interacting with nature, being grateful and that's just the beginning! These simple techniques work wonders for attracting abundance, and it's so much easier to be in a higher vibration when there are others around us in a similar frequency.

15 - Have Fun! Enjoy Your Working Days With CoWorkers!

Work shouldn't feel like work. I've worked from amazing locations in many countries - beaches, bars and moreover I always prioritise my space of work no matter where I'm at, to be a place I love to be in. The same can be said about where you are online through your screen, too.

16 - Attend Online ‘LIVE’ Events & Office Parties.

We all need a bit of human interaction, even in the virtual world and when your schedule permits, do it. Do you remember the series Cheers? "Where everybody knows your name..." In-person parties and events can be a place of comfort as well as provide massive growth potential for you.

17 - Stay Accountable For Your Tasks, Projects & Goals.

Accountability is everything. I start the day with 3 things I'm grateful for and then I set my MIT "most important task" for myself. Self-motivation is great, but what's even better is a place you can go where you feel accountable to others as well as to yourself, where you help to spur everyone on to achieve the success that they deserve too.

18 - Pitch Your Business With Confidence (To People Who Want To See It).

Learn to let go of your fears, and get yourself out there. When it comes to creating a pitch for your business, product, service, event or more, you need a safe space to be guided and supported, so you can practise, get feedback or simply go for it!

19 - New Content, Pre-Recorded Learning & ‘LIVE’ Sessions Every Week.

Make sure you get a format of content which is accessible to you. If you sign up for 'LIVE' webinars but don't attend - that's not helping, you need to be able to plan and schedule useful input when it suits you.

20 - If You Love It You’ll Be Able To Earn Income From It (Legit).

Find a source of passive income, or a side thing you can do that works well in your industry - anything that contributes to your financial goals without too much effort, no matter how big or small.
