How I made over $19,000 in additional income šŸ¤© (in 3 MONTHS!)

I wanted to share a story with you about a really incredible change in my business that happened through simply following some amazing advice...

I've been following Yaro Starak since 2005 (when I started my VA business and he started blogging).

In 2010 I'd built up a really great VA Business, and back then I was generating around $19,000 a month gross in client business, just selling my VA services. You can find my income reports linked in my Academy Courses, just over half way down the page.

And around that time I was also getting a lot of questions from budding & more seasoned virtual assistants who were looking to find out how I was doing it, and I always tried to answer as many questions as I could, but it ended up taking me several hours a week, just providing this support to other VAs.

I was really watching how Yaro was rapidly developing his blog, and also was vary aware he had a course that taught people how to do that too, and generate income from blogging, essentially sharing their expertise with more structure, to reach a wider audience. So I jumped in and bought his Blog Mastermind course and his Membership Mastermind course together, which actually changed the direction of my business foreverā€¦

After enrolling in both courses, I attended the 'LIVE' calls with Yaro, asked questions and tried to absorb as much as I could, as fast as I could. The steps I took were relatively simple - I created a blog and began posting (using Yaro's strategies & advice), started building a mailing list (using the methods he teaches), and then decided I was going to create a course for virtual assistants.

The entire process took 3 months.

I was blogging, built up a list of around 500 people, and at the end of the 3 months, I made over $19,000 (in additional income). True Story, which you can learn more about from when Yaro interviewed me.

We talked about a variety of things, which you can see on the video cover on the right, but more than anything else  here you can see how blogging  can literally create new income streams if you're shown how to do this right.

Are there enough hours in your day?

I shared two incredible interviews with you from myself and Yaro Starak, and I know they're super-inspiring, but for sure itā€™s time to get real in the sense that if you're working full time, or have other commitments like being a parent, or career, sometimes it may seem there arenā€™t enough hours in the day as it is - let alone adding more work to your day.

I get it...

Having built a really steady & comfortable income with my online business consultancy and virtual assistant services company, I decided that I wanted to try something new. I wanted to really start giving something back to my industry, Virtual Assistance.

The concern that I had was that I barely had enough time in the day already, running my company full time, managing the staff, and of course being a mum to my 1 and 2 year olds at the timeā€¦ I'd found some sort of a balance in my life, but doing the additional business development would of course tip that balance I'd created.

After giving it some thought, I decided on the course of action I was going to take, so as you know I joined Yaro Starakā€™s Membership Mastermind and Blog Mastermind Courses.

I've followed Yaro for a very long time, because I'm really drawn to his down-to-earth attitude to business, his zest for life and his ability to confidently make money online (consistently, year after year).

I joined having serious doubts that I could make time for all the extra work, but I've always been up for a challenge. It turned out I was wrong, because somehow I fit everything in - people have an amazing ability to adapt to their situation & their circumstances... which is exactly what I did. 

Heard of a research shopping list?

Whenever starting a new venture online, for me research shopping lists are absolutely essential for getting started!

So when I decided I wanted to move into digital product creation & online training I knew I needed help...

In order to learn more about how I was going to put all my work together I made a research shopping list, which is basically a list of things I needed researching into - to get links, downloads, blogs, websites, audios, videos - basically everything I could think of to kick-start this new venture.

I gave all the details to one of my Virtual Assistants to go and get the items I needed on my shopping list. This saved me a lot of time, and I was able to simply work from precisely what I actually wanted and needed, and didn't have to spend any time sifting through content (much of which isn't useful, or is rubbish) that I didn't have any interest in.

One of the items I needed was an incredible course on learning how to blog, and as youā€™re aware that was a 'no brainer' for me, because I chose Yaro Starak as my mentor and the rest is historyā€¦

Yaro changed my life...

As you now know, Yaro literally changed my life with what he was able to teach me and the way he went about it. I listened to him and I was hungry to learn more and he made it possible for me to simply learn and put the work inā€¦ which resulted in me going from a mailing list of 0 to 500 within 3 months and making $19,000 in cash from it.

I kid you not.

I had totally found a mentor in Yaro Starak. I knew he wasn't the traditional type of mentor for a virtual assistant, but that didn't matter to me, because I already knew I'd easily figure out how to be a VA, what I needed was someone who understood digital business through an entrepreneur's eyes so I could grow my business.

So in 2010 I invested in his online training, and never looked back since...

So donā€™t sit there 1, 5 or 10 years from now having not invested in yourself and given it your best shot, because it worked for me (still works for me), and itā€™s worked for possibly thousands of other people too. All you need, is the knowledge and your mojo and youā€™re on your way to success!
