When I was a teenager, I was pretty skinny until I hit my mid teens, I then began to 'fill out' in ways that were difficult to control. That was the start of over 15 years of weight fluctuations, low energy, and loss of vitality, which escalated when my 3 children came along.
Have you been feeling that your desk job has taken its toll on you? All that sitting down, very little movement, maybe having a couple of kids and grabbing food on the fly has left you overweight, feeling lethargic, yo-yo dieting and generally feeling like you aren't in your best shape, but you've tried everything and it hasn't worked - this is going to sound like one of those cheesy weight loss adverts, but I'm completely serious - that was me, but not anymore, and I'd like to show you how this happened...
As my virtual assistant business developed, and I became older, I found there were more and more work from home mums and dads, who spent a majority of their day at a desk like I was, and who were paying too little attention to their lifestyle, like I was.
This could be not exercising, eating on the fly, and then basically gaining weight, feeling crappy all the time, thinking that was normal, and looking for the nearest diet or 'quick fix' to try and lose a bit of weight before it got too out of control.
I decided things had to change, and over the last several years I've immersed myself in researching the body and how it works, food, nutrition, disease, bio-chemistry etc... You name it.
I made several huge discoveriesOnes that I wish I'd understood years ago - I would never have struggled so much with my weight had I known.
Weight loss isn't about diets (okay I know you've heard that one before, "diets don't work" - it's true), it comes down to several things and the one that really stuck out for me as the game changer was starting to address what I don't eat first (as opposed to what I do eat), and with that knowledge combined with several other mindset changing techniques, I was able to introduce into my life a programme I created for myself using a combination of advice from experts and people who've lost weight and kept it off, which was the easiest thing I have ever done, and the weight has been practically falling off of me.
It takes some ground work, but the beauty of the groundwork is that nothing is out of bounds in using the methods I've discovered and applied to 'train' your mind and body into wanting to eat right - imagine losing a bunch of weight without the use of any willpower, always feeling satisfied, never hungry, and eating what you wanted, and the work you've been doing on yourself actually just makes you gravitate naturally towards the right choices because you want those more then the others.
I've lost 40 lbs so far doing this (no diets, fads, questionable or extreme measures, my kids even eat what I eat!), and I'm so convinced this can work for you, as effortlessly as it's worked for me, I want to share every little detail to help you learn what I did, as you may want to try this out for yourself, especially if you've struggled with weight loss in the past.
