How To Find Out The Reason Why The Client Never Contacted You Back

Have you ever done a consultation, responded to a contact form, replied to an initial enquiry or phoned back a potential client and left a message and never heard a sausage back from them?

What have you done…. maybe tried again, but still no reply?

If you are still hanging on a few days later, perhaps you’ll try calling/emailing again?

The fact is that there is a reason why this person has not reciprocated with a reply back, and rather than sit there wondering why – you should ask to find out if there is anything you could have done differently. This will then allow you to improve on your service and conversions, or will put your mind at rest, that really they have just been too busy and they are going to get back to you when they have time.

In these cases – give a potential client 72 hours minimum, but no longer than 7 days.

Then send this to them on email:

Hi [ENTER NAME HERE],

Thank you for your interest in [ENTER YOUR COMPANY HERE].

You contacted us recently with regard to our virtual assistant services, and I was just wondering if you have any questions about the service we provide, or if there is anything else we can assist with?

In order to improve our service, we’d be interested to learn if there was a specific reason you chose not to go any further with your enquiry on this occasion?

If there is anything we can do, please just let us know, and we’d be glad to help you – further information about our services are at [ENTER YOUR WEBSITE HERE].

Best Regards,

[YOUR EMAIL SIGNATURE HERE]

If you still don’t hear back from them after this – then move on. The potential client is either simply unable to contact you back, or he/she is just not that into you. Find some more leads which are worth spending your energy and time on.
