4 Massive Life Changes To Be Thankful For This 2020

Virtual Miss Friday 😃
Nov 26, 2020
Today's Thanksgiving 2020.

The world is strange right now; we find ourselves in the strangest of pandemics that have thrust us into the most unprepared for challenges we've faced in our generation. For sure older generations have been through some very trying times, wars and recessions, but for many this is our first time to be experiencing such things on a global scale.

But besides the pandemic, this year, or actually the last couple of years, has also brought about a lot of change in my life, and I wanted to share those changes with you, and just like I tend to focus on the positive aspects of this pandemic, such as more time with the kids, projects getting finished etc... I also wanted to share with you positive outcomes of the challenges that I've been faced with in recent years and give you a general update of where I'm at now.

I've always been an open book, and I'm about to share another chapter with you.

1: My relationship with Dale has changed.

For many of you who have followed my journey from the beginning and beyond will know that myself and Dale, the father of my 3 children are no longer 'together' in the sense of a couple.

But we've learnt so much from our time together and we're still getting along very well as co-parents, co-workers in Virtual Miss Friday, and deeply bonded friends.

Sometimes when life sets you on a course, it can last forever, or it can last as long as it's intended to, or it can simply change course - well, we've shifted course, but we're both happy, healthy and still very much a loving family, but with a new way of living.

2: I've extended my family.

I became a little bit more flexible on the 'pet' rules. I'm really a sucker for the kids and they love their animals, so in addition to the cat 'Zeus' we brought to Egypt from Greece, we've acquired a Cockatiel (Mojito), 2 Budgies (Saffy and Sunny), 2 fish (Evil Bob and Spot), another cat (Luna), and a puppy (Logan). Sadly we lost our dog Bella earlier this year.

They all drive me crazy at times, but it's a nice kind of crazy!

3: I'm in a new relationship.

Just as the pandemic was starting here in March, I was moving house in April and the country was going in lockdown. I'd been dating someone, his name's Shaher, and as I was moving into a new house he moved in during quarantine with me and the kids; he's a lovely, understanding guy with a big heart, who has accepted me, and my children and supported me in everything that comes with my life.

4: I'm pregnant.

And finally! As I write this post I'm 19 weeks pregnant; Shaher and I are expecting a child in April 2021 and we're both so happy to be welcoming our new baby into the world. My family have been very supportive and I couldn't ask for more.

So these are positive things that have been happening in my personal life, and I felt the need to share with you, especially since you'll likely be seeing another little baby popping up on my social media soon!

This doesn't change anything in my business in terms of my commitment to Virtual Miss Friday and all my followers, clients and members, it just adds more experience to my life to be able to share further perspectives, and help others.

So may I give a huge thanks to the people who are beside me, to my children first and foremost, they're the most precious gifts in my life, to Dale, to my parents Will and Helen, to Shaher, to my team, to my dearest friends, with a special mention to Megan and Judy, and to everyone who has supported Virtual Miss Friday and all those who invest in my training, mentorship and coaching.

I'm thankful for all of these incredible people in my life, not just on Thanksgiving, but everyday!
