Friday, July 24, 2015

This week Swayy.co, my content curators dropped a bomb and said they'd merged with another company, and were closing down my content curation system which I absolutely love - and share with often, with just a few days notice. This left me in a position of having only a few days to figure out where I was going to curate my clients' content from. Eek!

Beyond Backups - Adobe Business Catalyst For Wordpress?

Wednesday, May 13, 2015

Earlier today we received a support request from someone who is moving away from Adobe Business Catalyst in favour of Wordpress, primarily because they don't believe they use the features that ABC provides. I get asked a lot about the Wordpress/ABC comparison, and thought this would be good to share, since most people believe all they need is a backup of their Wordpress site for it to be 'okay' but in our experience that's not the case.

Wordpress VS Adobe Business Catalyst - An Online Business Perspective

Saturday, February 02, 2013

This isn't just another comparison between Wordpress and Adobe Business Catalyst. You see while there are a number of comparisons out there, the people making them are either website developers (mostly who specialise in Wordpress) or Bloggers. What this comparison is about is what system is more cost effective, more functional, easier to operate in day to day business administration, and what would be better to run an online business and not just a blog or a website. The thing is web developers are all about functionality and design - where as at Virtual Miss Friday, I'm all about the entire package - design, functionality and how the client will logistically and financially operate the business after the website is finished.
