What Would You Do If Your Online Business Ran Itself?

Monday, August 28, 2017

There are so many things I love about working with clients online, and doing what I do. For instance I get to work from awesome locations, pretty much wherever I choose around the world, I get to be around my kids - and my husband works in the business too, and because of the sheer determination and constant progress and improvement that I strive for in my work (yeah I'm trying to leave a legacy here!) I've figured out how to create a highly specialised strategy for client operations, which means they get to step back and allow myself and my team to take over almost everything, with the exception of showing up to do what they do best.

My Adventures In Delhi, India

Monday, June 13, 2016

Guess what, I'm back from India, and even though this post has been delayed while I get back in my groove, plus I'm not sure if you've ever put a 'holidays/vacation' blog post together with images and video, but it takes a fair while trying to condense it - I could have made this into a novel, so I'm splitting my travels up into different posts, in this one we're doing Delhi and The Taj! My oh my did I have an awesome time and it's still very fresh in my mind :-)

How To Quit Your Job And Experience Financial Freedom In Under 3 Months

Tuesday, March 15, 2016

In February 2005 when I was 23, I was pretty fed up with several things, such as the daily commute to the city, the huge council tax bill, the ridiculously large mortgage that I would most likely be paying into my retirement and the sheer predictability of everything in my life. Does this sound familiar to you?

One day I came home to find my house had been robbed (that's the short version of the story) but when you have something like that happen it makes you sit down on your empty living room floor and think... I had problems – I wasn't happy, this was the kind of shock I needed to get me out of the trance state that was my daily existence. When I took a look at my problems, I could see the only way out would be to make a significant life change, I needed a break – but I was in no position to do that with my cost of living each month. I decided that in order to do this, I would need to get rid of my mortgage and my living expenses. Now this isn’t so easy in the UK, costs of living are high, and you need a steady job. So my only option was to dramatically reduce my living costs. This is when I decided I would have to take action and actually move in order to do this.

This is my first post of 2016! Happy New Year to you :-) Did you get a chance yet to look back at your last year's goals, mull them over, set new goals, or are you finding you're setting the same goals again, because last year, they just didn't happen?

Thoughts On The Paris Attacks

Sunday, November 15, 2015

With the events this week in France where more than 120 people were killed in a horrific terrorist attack in the capital, and there were many more injured, I don't think we can help but think to ourselves, what if...

I Owe You An Explanation

Wednesday, October 28, 2015

You may notice it's been a little while since my last post - well a lot has happened and to be honest I needed to take a 'time out' to regroup from the non-critical aspects of my business (entrepreneurs don't ever get to close the door, or shutdown, but we do get to rearrange and prioritise). Well regrouped I have done and I wanted to explain to you why this all came about. It's also a bit of a tribute...

The Doctor or The Dinner Lady - Who's More Successful?

Thursday, June 25, 2015

How we define success is very much shaped by society. I remember when I was young, all I could focus on was career, independence - Income... I thought success was directly related to my bank balance, my home and its contents and my car. On a mentorship call I was holding with a group of people on my Rockstar programme I recently used the analogy of the Doctor and the Dinner Lady, I wanted to share this with you.

How To Do It All - What My New Baby Has Reminded Me Of

Wednesday, August 27, 2014

Hello folks, I'm back to my blog. Last month I left you heavily pregnant and feeling very uncomfortable, and this month I have returned feeling lighter - my daughter has been born, her name is "Layla Athena" she's now 5 weeks old and I thought I'd start my return with an update, on one of the questions that most of my Passport members have been asking me on coaching calls these last couple of weeks, the question is "So, how do you do it all?"

What Are You Doing? Making Excuses or Making It Work?

Monday, April 08, 2013

Last week you may have noticed I went 'radio silent' and a blog post didn't appear on this blog and a newsletter didn't go out either. This really was for a couple of reasons, the first, it was Easter and I decided that I would give myself a break from my routine for that reason, and the second, I had a major relaunch for a client, and several other very important projects simmering on my virtual stove for other clients - and when that happens, clients come first, and my time is wholeheartedly devoted to their businesses.
