Hesitation Can Cost You, and Regret Can Consume You

Tuesday, April 18, 2017

As you may know, I'm a 'location independent' - this means I can travel around, live wherever I want, and I can take my income, business (and family!) with me wherever I go, and it's a wonderful life, a life I only could have ever dreamed about before I discovered what it took to 'live' it.

How To Finally Remove The Roadblocks To Success As A Virtual Assistant

Tuesday, March 07, 2017

When I started out as a virtual assistant in 2005, it took me 2 years of learning - self teaching, living hand to mouth and wondering if I should give up. This was before the days of social media, Facebook and Twitter didn't exist, it was before the days of drag and drop content management systems like Wordpress or services like Strikingly, before the days of all-in-one business systems like Adobe Business Catalyst, or Rainmaker, and services that allow you to produce beautiful graphics like a pro-designer in minutes such as Canva, also did not exist - Zip - Nada.

The Ultimate Way To Grow Your Business Is With 1nSourcing

Friday, January 27, 2017

I'm going to be frank here... As a business owner myself and growing a business beyond 6 figures, I fully understand that you, as a business owner, don't work an exact number of hours every month in your business, you don't repetitively complete the same exact tasks over and over every month and you don't require the same exact amount of time spent in every area of your business every month. Am I right? If you did, you'd be a robot.

That Issue People Have After Christmas and New Year Break...

Thursday, January 19, 2017

So this is the first post of 2017 on my blog, and the first post I’ve made for a while really, why... Well, I was going through a really busy period inside Virtual Miss Friday, and in life really too, we’re growing in so many different directions, I decided to get my head down and just really focus on where I wanted to take things in 2017, and then we had Christmas and New Year, when as many of you know we travel and take a bit of time off! So in the last few weeks, we went from Greece to England to Montenegro and now we’re on the gorgeous Red Sea in Egypt, this is all part of a bigger picture which I’ll tell you about soon, promise ;-)

Halloween Black Moon - Spooky Or Powerful?

Saturday, October 29, 2016

I just got off a Skype chat with my mate Tiffany (I introduced her to you a few blog posts ago), we were chatting about business, and she said, "So what are you doing for the Black Moon on Sunday?" - at first I thought it was maybe some weird Halloween thingy, I would of said "I'm watching the Halloween results episode of Strictly Come Dancing on the box - OF COURSE!", but after she started explaining I became very interested - this apparently is the time to harness the power of transformation! So she said to me, "Would you like to share my post on it with your peeps?" and I said 'Yes please!' so hear she is, over to you Tiffany ;-)

You May As Well Struggle In Happiness

Wednesday, October 12, 2016

When you have a dream to move to another country (or anywhere else really) because you're so unhappy where you're at, then the first step of the plan is usually to build a business in order to achieve that dream - I have to say, I don't fully agree with the order of the priorities.

The fact is, going after a dream is rarely easy, if it was you'd be there by now, we would all just think up what we wanted and make it happen.

The New Hybrid Model Of Outsourcing For Virtual Assistants

Thursday, August 04, 2016

Have you ever worked so hard your entire life to come to a point where you say - this is it! This is what it's all been for... This is my mark on the world, this is my legacy, this is 'my thing', the thing that could really make an impact - and you don't question it, you just know. Not yet? Well, if that's the case your time will come young Jedi...

World Meet Tiffany And Our Practical Guide To Spiritual Woo Woo

Monday, July 25, 2016

What can I say about this post... It's the final blog in my India series, you can check out Part 1 here and Part 2 here - and it's a post that's completely out of my comfort zone, but if you know me, you'll probably know I'm no stranger to stepping out of that. It's also a post which shows a very real side of me that you probably won't have seen before - it may scare you off, or it may bring you and I closer together, I have no idea, but, I've come to the conclusion that in either case, the best decision is to always be genuine, even if it means this genuine side of me isn't accepted by some people, it's all good!

Hanging Out In The Himalayas

Sunday, June 26, 2016

Namaste! Welcome to the second instalment of our trip to India. We packed our bags and got in the car for over 9 hours heading to the Himalayas! It was a festival day so took about 2 hours longer than normal to get clear of the Delhi area. We had an awesome driver (Mohan, below in the image of us with our second mode of transport, the elephant) who never seemed to leave our side, I mean literally he stayed with us the whole week in the car parks, being available if we needed a car for anything - whenever, I'm pretty confident he slept in it...

I wanted to sum up our time there, so I made you guys a quick video ;-)

My Adventures In Delhi, India

Monday, June 13, 2016

Guess what, I'm back from India, and even though this post has been delayed while I get back in my groove, plus I'm not sure if you've ever put a 'holidays/vacation' blog post together with images and video, but it takes a fair while trying to condense it - I could have made this into a novel, so I'm splitting my travels up into different posts, in this one we're doing Delhi and The Taj! My oh my did I have an awesome time and it's still very fresh in my mind :-)
