This is an excellent question. There are few things to note here.

#1 – First of all I provide an excellent collaboration environment for clients electronically, so nearly everything is dealt with online, and extremely detailed records are kept via online discussions.

#2 – In the case of processing administrative tasks, rather than working the “9-5″ so to speak, we actually work to deadlines. So for example, if we are handling customer support emails for a client as their company, those emails will be processed “within 24 hours” from the time they come in.

#3 – Being self-employed and having an international company, I work with clients and team members in 6 out of 7 continents, so I generally work odd hours, and I am available in the evenings (my time) which is generally the afternoon (US time) for calls with clients if they need me. The calls are scheduled in via an online calendar and the client can easily switch the calendar timezone to their own, enabling them to book an appointment to speak to me during their own time.

The only services I don’t provide are accounting/bookkeeping and call answering, for everything else we have a global client base, and American and Canadian clients are a big part of it. I can also invoice in US Dollars and we can work in US or UK English. I also have team members who are of American nationality.

Overall the timezone has never been an issue as long as we can work in parameters of 24 hours, e.g. If the client assigns something during their daytime, we can be processing it while they are sleeping

This is my site, if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask:
